If the MC was a football team

If the MC was a football team, each player would have to play a position or a number. Thus, we must first select a formation for this team of 9.

While it is difficult to select a proper team formation, the best would be a normal system of 3-4-1. Why such a system? This would help pack the midfield, where they would both work flexibly for both offensive and defensive situations.

So we shall start with the 3-4-1 system, with the midfield being a diamond, meaning a defensive midfielder and a player playing ‘in the hole’, while two wingers play at the side, running up and down for offence and defense.

Goalkeeper – 1 – William
As the main person working closest to the administration of AIESEC Malaysia and Member Committee, he would also be considered the ‘last person’ closest to base, which is the goal-post.

Right-back – 2 – Csilli
LC Development, Csilli would make marauding runs to externals, but be focused in helping LCs develop and build capacity while helping in ICX.

Left-back – 3 – Jasper
Similar to Csilli, Jasper has the task of managing the human resource of AIESEC and give assistance to the midfield, while ensuring that OGX is running smoothly. Often going to the last third to deliver talks about AIESEC for recruitment purposes.

Full-back – 5 – Ariff
The defensive rock of the team, Ariff searches for grants while helping maintain order in the team with his calm personality.

Defensive Midfielder – 4 – Ethan
The pitbull, aggressive and persistent, Ethan works as an engine of the team, helping supply the energy and talent to bring AIESEC Malaysia to greater heights.

Right Winger – 7 – Geral
Working in tandem with the striker, Geral frequently contacts externals like a right winger, dribbling through hurdles to get the contacts and help get the AIESEC name out. Working closely with the striker, she often takes shots on goal to bring the money in.

Left Winger – 11 – Nick
A right-footed left winger forces Nick to enter through the center of the park, helping add manpower to the midfield. Creative and full of tricks, Nick causes opponents and fans alike to be dazzled by his creative footwork. Also well known for this amazing dance celebrations.

Playmaker – 10 – Sandy
The man strategizer and captain of the team. Consistently involved in all team movements forward or back, Sandy is the driver to Ethan’s engine, making goal-scoring passes and pin-point crosses when she floats to the right of the field.

Striker – 9 – James
The lone striker, James works to bring the money home by scoring the vital goals. Constantly at the opponent’s back line, darting to ensure that can release the offside trap and grab a goal with his predatory instincts. Works well with Geral as well, heading in goals from her crosses.
